European Trek: Spring-style

How time flies! Mitch and I are a week into a ministry trip in Europe. I finish up here on Monday, returning to the girls in the States. And Mitch will move into a 'second-phase' weeklong journey in Nikolaev, Ukraine.

We've had a WONDERFUL time over the last week, with several groups of believers - seeing the power of God touch people in amazing ways. Healing, salvation, deliverance.... Amazing!

One of the more dramatic stories was a young man who agreed to let Mitch pray for him but wanted Mitch to know that he was on drugs and really had no hope of getting out of that lifestyle. Mitch, undaunted, showered him with the love of Jesus and led him into an encounter with the Holy Spirit! He gave his life to Jesus, felt the power of God 'take something out his stomach' and felt God's power fill him back up. Again, AMAZING! Another young lady, approached Mitch and said, "I want to give my life to Jesus but I don't know how." Helllooo? Is Jesus not wooing people by His goodness?

We finish our week out with a service tonight, a day off tomorrow (first one) to visit the city of Strasbourg, a service Friday night, day off on Saturday and then a Sunday morning service. Then we catch morning flights on Monday to our 2 separate destinations. I am anxious to see my babies again!

prepping for a trip

The countdown is on for the next roadtrip! On Friday night, we'll head south for 3 weeks. With the weather we've been having here, we are ready for some Texas winter. :)

We're looking forward to seeing friends in Milano and in Palestine - ministering for 3 Sundays and maybe some mid-week stuff too. Love these places we return too on a regular basis - makes for good fellowship!

Also, on our plate is the 'planning stage' of our next conference! We so excited to announce our first "World Changers Conference" on April 8-9, 2011! This conference is specifically geared toward young revivalists - those who are pursuing the Kingdom of God being manifest 'on this earth as in heaven'.

Much more information will be coming - here and on our website... revivalrevo.com

fellowship is the word

I'm so grateful for 'fellowship'. It goes beyond the world's term 'friendship' and is a connection of the heart and spirit with fellow believers. The last week has been one of FELLOWSHIP for me!

Last Thursday, we got to spend the afternoon with a dear family in Kearney. They have kids the same ages as ours... they're just boys instead! The girls get along great with them and so we had a wonderful time - family to family.

On Sunday, church was great! And was followed by lunch with one of my sisters and her husband. Later that afternoon, we met a couple for coffee and then later that night, another sis of mine came to visit, with her hubby and 3 babies. Such a sweet time!

Monday, Mitch and I headed for Grand Island to attend a monthly pastor's get-together. It's always good to see friends there and chat about what God is doing in our state! We continued our journey east and met a young man (we used to pastor) for dinner. What a fabulous time catching up with him and speaking life and destiny into him and his future.

Onward we continued to Omaha, so fellowship with my husband was sweet through the drive time.

The next day, we met another couple for lunch. One we hadn't really ever sat down and spent time with, but one we've known for a long time. Two and a half hours later, we were all beaming with the light of Jesus - as we had such sweet fellowship around the One we love.

This is the fellowship of the believers that is so, so important in our lives. I'm so blessed to have such beautiful and amazing people around my life, to speak into my life and spur me on to good works!

my 'cup' this week

Another week, off to a good start. Yesterday was a long school day, with 2 hours of it dedicated to watching the last part of the movie "Gettysburg". Today I was blessed with a massage! And Tuesdays are dance days for the kids.

We had an excellent weekend of ministry, as Mitch did the services here at our home church - there's 3 of them. His message was on "A Glimpse of Heaven" and was a blessing to everyone... including the many who are still getting on 'ustream' to watch it!

He is scheduled to minster the next 2 Saturday nights here at Harvest as well. What a blessing to have a home church and be able to bless them, as they are such a blessing to us.

Tomorrow is another day of pampering for me - I have a hair appointment and Mitch said I could get a tanning card, woohoo! And Thursday we get to spend the afternoon in Kearney with some good friends. Have I used the word "blessed" enough yet? :)

Besides keeping up with schoolwork, that will pretty much round out the week. I'm counting down the days til we leave for 3 weeks in Texas! Thank you Jesus for Texas in February!

fruitful and blessed 2011

We've been home just slightly over a month now. I think we're 're-acclimated' to the States life. It's a good thing... for now.

The last 6 weeks have included a trip to Texas and a trip to California for Mitch and I, sans the kids. Both were VERY refreshing and a major blessing!

The kids and I have been slowly getting back into a full school schedule since Christmas vacation and will get into the FULL swing of things tomorrow. I think the kids are bored enough that they are ready. :)

We're planning a 3 week trip to Texas coming up next month and some other ministry has been scheduled as well for the next few months. God is faithful.

I am thoroughly enjoying and putting to good use the MacBook Mitch gave me for Christmas. Heck, I might even blog more!

Here's to a fruitful and blessed 2011 as God continues to pour out His Spirit on this Planet!

leaving home, for home

We're settled into our hotel near the Paris airport for the night. We need to be up and on a shuttle by 7:30am for our 9:30 flight (that's 2:30am CST).

What an amazing last week in Europe we had. We were in Italy for 5 days and were soooo loved on - by the people and by Jesus! Mitch taught all day for 4 days at a Prophetic School. In the evenings we spent time perusing the nearby mall and then dinner at the pastor's home. ITALIAN food for 5 days! :)

The Italian people were so loving and we felt like family. The last couple days, Jesus began lavishing His extravagant love on me through those beautiful women - I have several new pieces of jewelry, including some diamonds! :) Amazing!

Monday was cleaning, laundry and packing day. And that brings us to the train ride to Paris today - 3 1/2 hours on a fast-moving train, dropped off at a station, hopped on a bus and arrived at this Novotel Hotel.

And so here we are, nestled into our hotel rooms for the night. We have 2 rooms, as is required in France for more than 4 people (so frustrating) but it's kind of a blessing for tonight. The kids are in one room watching "Monsters vs. Aliens and Mitch and I are about to watch "Robin Hood" in our room.

In a few short hours, we'll be off and on our way - headed away from 'home' to home. Until next Spring...

our last week abroad

We had a wonderful weekend in Pontarlier. 4 services in 2 days... people were really blessed and ministered too. Jesus is so faithful!

The family we stayed with had a 'petite maison' (little house) behind their home which we stayed in. It's always nice to have your own space when you travel as a family. We have been so blessed by the church body here!

We were just 10 minutes from the Swiss border and there was a group of believers that came over for the weekend meetings. They blessed us with A TON of Swiss chocolate! 20 bars... yikes. Between that and my container of olive oil -fresh from this southern region- I will have a 50 pound bag. :)

Today is again a 'regrouping' day - laundry and clean up. We also will be having lunch with the pastor of the Istres church here shortly. Him and the church have been such a huge blessing to us!

Tomorrow we drive to Torino, Italy - about a 5 hour drive. Thursday begins a 4-day prophetic school which Mitch will teach at all day all 4 days. Unless he pulls me into it. :)

Then we rush back here to Istres to 'regroup' and then take a train to Paris to fly out next Wednesday. It will be quite a week!
